Who We Are
Vocal Artistry is a select 22-voice choir dedicated to performing choral music of the highest quality strengthening our community and voicing the needs of those around us. More than music, Vocal Artistry performances inspire, entertain, enliven and engage our minds, souls and spirit through the power of music.
Our Leadership
Artistic Director Joseph Caulkins founded Vocal Artistry in 2010. For nearly a decade he led the Southwest Florida Symphony Choruses and Orchestra in many memorable programs including their annual Messiah and Holiday Pops concerts. Now Joseph brings his enthusiasm and expertise as Minister of Music for Fort Myers’ historic First Baptist Church where Vocal Artistry is an important part of their outreach.
Our Vision for Community
Each performance strives to make a community connection presenting music that reflects social causes and needs in our community. Through partnerships and collaborations Vocal Artistry dedicates its message to local issues concerning hunger, abuse, homelessness, education and the arts. Past partnerships include the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund, Harry Chapin Food Bank, After the Rain Halfway House, Holocaust Museum of Southwest Florida, and Art of the Olympians.
